The ubiquitous Intel HD 4000 iGPU is still ranking high in Steam surveys. It was part of the 3rd Gen Intel Core-i architecture and was quite a jump from earlier generations. Seeing is believing, so check out the gameplay video which will give you more details about fps, resolution and detail settings.
Most games ran fine as long as you are satisfied with 30fps, somewhat lower resolutions and low/mid detail settings. Obviously you can play games that are older than the ones I’ve tested here. You should be able to play all AAA games from the PS3/XB360 generation better than on the consoles.
Check out my blog about dual-channel RAM, it will give you a big boost in performance for gaming.
